Terms of use

Last updated 20 October 2026.

These terms describe the MQuant research notebook and this website. They are a plain-language agreement between you and the private individual who operates them (“the operator”). The operator is not a company. If a paid checkout is offered later, the merchant of record for that payment is Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the payment itself.

1. What you are using

MQuant is a personal software interface for reading probability sketches on already-closed price bars. It may show a path cone, calibration notes, a news window, and a level sketch. It does not route orders, custody funds, or provide individualized investment advice.

Outputs can be wrong, late, or absent. A public quote, where shown, may be delayed. Past calculations are not a guide to future results. You remain responsible for any decision you make after reading a note.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms. You may not use the notebook if doing so would break a law that applies to you, including sanctions rules.

3. This website

The pages on this website are informational. They do not open an account, store a card, or complete a purchase. Prices listed here describe the notebook. They are not a checkout.

4. If you later pay through Paddle

Paddle.com (and its relevant contracting entity) is the merchant of record for a paid order placed through a Paddle checkout. Paddle sells you the access, collects the price and applicable tax, and issues the receipt. The operator supplies the software to Paddle for that resale.

Your payment relationship is with Paddle. Card numbers are handled by Paddle and its payment partners, not typed into this website and not stored by the operator. Plan name, the email used at checkout, country, and subscription status may be shared with the operator so access can be recognized.

Subscription periods renew until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access already paid for continues until the end of that period unless a refund is given. The separate refund note explains requests.

5. License

While your access is active, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the interface for your own reading. You do not receive the models, source, or data rights. You may not resell access, share a seat, scrape the service in bulk, or present the notes as your own product.

6. Acceptable use

You will not try to break, overload, or bypass limits on the notebook; probe it for vulnerabilities without a good-faith report to [email protected]; use it to mislead others about certainty or profit; or use it in a way that would make the operator look like a broker, fund, or advisor.

7. No professional advice

Notes are general research output. They are not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument, and they are not tax, legal, or accounting advice. The operator is not your advisor and does not know your circumstances.

8. Availability and changes

The notebook may be unavailable, changed, or withdrawn. Thresholds, models, and plan limits can change. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new date. If you keep using paid access after a change, the updated terms apply to the next period.

9. Disclaimer

The website and the notebook are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, the operator disclaims implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted operation. Some places do not allow those disclaimers; in those places they apply only as far as they may.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost profits, trading losses, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the notes or from an inability to use them. If a paid plan was purchased through Paddle, the operator’s aggregate liability related to that plan is limited to the amount Paddle paid through to the operator for your plan in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or for death or injury caused by negligence where such a limit is forbidden.

11. Ending access

You may stop using the notebook at any time. The operator may suspend access if these terms are broken, if Paddle reports a failed payment, or if continuing would create a legal or security problem. Suspension does not by itself refund a period already paid; refunds follow the refund note and Paddle’s process.

12. Law

These terms are intended to be read under the law of the place where the operator lives, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live and that cannot be waived. Courts of that place are the intended venue, unless a mandatory rule gives you a local forum.
